Then years from now when Harry tries to tell the world about this abhorrent treatment, and the living hell he was in, most people will come nowhere near understanding what he lived through and just keep calling him a whiner. When he actually has genuine trauma to work through, nobody will be listening. I think that’s when he will realize what he put his family through, once he needs their support and has to finally face his own actions. There aren’t any words that can encompass the state he will be in if he ever gets the courage to deal with it all.
