My take on Rihanna’s relationship status is controversial to say the least…but controversy is my middle name!
Why, oh why, is she still playing bridesmaid and not yet a bride? I mean, seriously, she’s got two kids now with ASAP Rocky and still no ring on that finger? What’s she playing at?
I’m sure you’ve seen the pictures of the gorgeous couple, Rihanna and ASAP Rocky, out and about, looking all lovey-dovey. And don’t get me wrong, they make a stunning pair. But come on, RiRi, what’s the hold-up? Are you waiting for the stars to perfectly align or for a sign from the universe?
Now, I understand that some people don’t believe in marriage and that’s completely their choice. But let’s be real here, when you have two little humans running around, putting a ring on it doesn’t seem like such a wild and crazy idea. And honestly, if anyone deserves a fairy-tale ending, it’s Rihanna. She’s slayed the music industry, the fashion industry, and basically any industry she’s set her sights on, so why not add a happily ever after to that list?
I’m not saying that ASAP Rocky isn’t the one for Rihanna, but, girl, let’s lock that down. You’ve been the bridesmaid enough, it’s time to put the dress on and say “I Do.” It’s understandable to take your time and make sure you’re ready, but with two kids in tow, it’s time to make that commitment.
So, Rihanna, if you’re reading this, take a page out of your own book and “shine bright like a diamond” down the aisle. We’re all rooting for you, and we can’t wait to see what fabulous dress you’ll rock on your special day. Until then, we’ll be patiently waiting for the announcement.
