Bitboy is a clown and has been involved in several rug projects. The dude shills out all sorts of bullshit. Getting paid several thousands of dollars worth of “NFTs” but the funny thing is, the payment doesn’t come from the company giving them the NFTs but the people who are buying them.
He always sues everyone, he’s a well known scammer who gets paid to promote crypto scams. He’s got a reputation.
Buttboy is a public figure and calling someone a ‘dirtbag’ is obviously a statement of opinion and not defamation. The problem is that you have to defend yourself and that is going to cost you—which is often the intent of the lawsuit. If the jurisdiction has anti-SLAPP legislation, it could very well come back on Buttboy and he would end up paying the other guys legal fees. BTW, I always thought he was a dirtbag way before I even heard of the guy getting sued.
I would love this going to trial and have a jury confirm that he is in fact a dirtbag, and thus not defamation.
