Justin Bieber has more money than most people could ever dream of, so I fail to see why Hailey feels the need to stoop to this level in order to gain attention or success. It’s just distasteful, plain and simple.
Now, I understand that everyone has the right to make their own choices when it comes to their career and how they choose to present themselves to the world. However, when you are in the public eye and your actions can influence and impact the lives of so many young, impressionable fans, I believe it is your responsibility to set a positive example and act with integrity.
It’s no secret that these kinds of images and representations of women in the media can have a detrimental effect on the way young girls view themselves and their bodies. By parading around in lingerie and flaunting her sexuality, Hailey Bieber is sending the message that a woman’s worth is tied to her physical appearance and her ability to attract male attention, rather than her intelligence, talent, or character.
Furthermore, let’s not forget the impact that this behavior can have on her own husband. Imagine being in Justin Bieber’s shoes and seeing your wife constantly objectifying herself for the world to see. It’s demeaning and disrespectful, and I can’t help but feel sorry for him.
